Besan ke ladoo, sometimes referred to as besan laddu, is a well-liked Indian dessert made from besan (gram flour), sugar, and ghee (clarified butter). Cardamom powder is optionally added, and nuts like almonds or cashews are used as garnish. Originating in North India, this sweet treat is frequently made for festivals, festivities, and special events.
To make besan ke ladoo, usually we use the gram flour but in this recipe we used roasted chana powder to make it in no time, this process save the time which we used for roasting besan or gram flour with ghee. For this recipe we use basic ingredients like, Roasted chana powder, dry fruits of choice, cardamom powder, powdered sugar and ghee.
The mixture is then shaped into round balls while it is still warm. Forming the ladoos while the mixture is still warm is essential because it helps to bind them together. Before serving, the ladoos are allowed to cool and solidify. For an added crunch and visual appeal, chopped nuts such as cashews or almonds can be used as a garnish.
Besan ladoo is loved for its rich, creamy flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture. It is a popular among people of all ages because it perfectly balances the flavors of sweetness and nuts. These ladoos, which stand for love, prosperity, and happiness, are frequently given as gifts during celebrations like Diwali and Raksha Bandhan and other festive events.
