This plum jam recipe is easy to make and needs just 3 ingredients to make – Plum, Sugar and Cinnamon Stick ( No Pectin and No Preservatives).

Plum jam is a type of fruit preserve made from cooked plums and sugar. It is a famous spread for pasteries, toast and sandwiches. Plums are a good source of vitamins A and C, as well as antioxidants. This jam can be stored in a air tight container in the refrigerator for several months.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Plum (आलूबुखारा) : 500 grams
  • Sugar : 1 cup
  • Cinnamon Stick : 2 inch

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Firstly, take 500 grams fresh plum (आलूबुखारा).

2. Roughly chop fresh plums and remove seeds.

3. Heat a pan or kadai and add the chopped plums in it. (आलूबुखारा).

4. Add 1 cup sugar.

5. Add 2 inch cinnamon stick.

6. Now mix well and cook on medium flame.

7. Cook till pulpy, stir occasionally.

8. Now turn off the flame and allow to cool to room temperature.

9. Remove cinnamon stick.

10. Transfer the prepared jam into an air tight jar.
